Fry Fire District was established in April of 1965. We provide fire, rescue, hazardous materials, wildland, technical rescue, and Emergency Medical Services to the citizens of the Fry Fire District and the unincorporated areas in and around the City of Sierra Vista.
The Fry Fire District provides Fire and Emergency Medical Services to an area of approximately 50-square miles of fire district and an additional 180-square miles for Emergency Medical Services.
The current tax levy rate for the fire district is at $3.14 per $100 of assessed valuation. Our total budget is $6,039,374.98 with a net revenue of $3,994,107.04, or 66% from the tax levy. This amount represents a tax levy increase from the previous year of . 13 cents which has been necessary to accommodate continued losses in assessed evaluations of over the last 7-years.
