Fry Fire District was established in 1965 as a fire district and provides fire, rescue, hazardous materials, wildland, and Emergency Medical Services to the citizens of the Fry Fire District and the surrounding areas around the City of Sierra Vista. Before 1965 the fire district was a all volunteer fire department that start in the early 50’s.

The Fry Fire District provides Fire and Emergency Medical Services to an area of approximately 50-square miles of fire district and over 180-square miles for Emergency Medical Services.

The current tax levy rate for the fire district is at $3.01 per $100 of assessed valuation with a total budget of $6,313,857.56 with a net revenue of $3,485,503.65 from the tax levy. This amount represents a tax levy increase from the previous year of . 04 cents. The Fry Fire District as experienced a loss in assessed evaluations of over 30% during the last 5-years.

The Fry Fire District has a proud history of providing Emergency Services for over 50-years to the citizens of Fry Fire District and Cochise County.
